Disconnecting Pixel Buds from smartphone

To ensure a clean start, let’s go ahead and make your device forget about the Pixel Buds. Don’t worry, this won’t affect your Pixel Buds’ settings or cause your other Bluetooth devices to be forgotten.

  • Pull down from the top of your phone’s home screen.
  • Press and hold the Bluetooth Quick Settings tile to access your phone’s Bluetooth settings.
  • Select “See all” beneath the “Saved devices” section.
  • Click the gear icon located next to your Pixel Buds Pro.
  • Choose the “Forget” option.

How to factory reset Google Pixel Buds

However, if you continue to face connectivity problems, remember you can come back to this step. Just make sure your Pixel Buds are safely tucked inside their closed charging case before proceeding.

  • Connect your Pixel Buds charging case to a power source.
  • Pop open the charging case.
  • Hold down the pairing button located on the back of the charging case for 30 seconds or until the status light on the front stops blinking.
  • The Pixel Buds charging case will flash white and orange until the reset process is finished.

How to connect Google Pixel Buds to Android devices

  • Press and keep holding the pairing button found on the back of the charging case until it enters pairing mode, which is indicated by the front light flashing white.
  • Your Android phone will send you a notification, asking you to pair your earbuds.
  • Simply tap on this notification to establish the connection between your Google Pixel Buds and your Android device.
  • If you don’t receive the notification, you can alternatively access the prompt by opening the “Connected devices” section in your Settings app.
