Best Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus alternatives in India under Rs. 40,000

Xiaomi kicked off 2024 with the launch of its highly anticipated Redmi Note 13 series. The line-up offers three feature-packed handsets– the Redmi Note 13, Redmi Note 13 Pro, and the Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus. The price range for this new series starts at INR 17,999 and extends up to INR 35,999.

Steep, isn’t it? A whopping INR 36K for a Redmi Note series handset. We do understand that Xiaomi has thrown in good hardware and a nice-looking faux leather finish in a fusion of colors but that’s how it is with Xiaomi. The brand is known for offering all such features and hardware at aggressive prices, guess that kinda ends with this Redmi Note series.

We at Techtrackr believe that at this price point, competing handsets offer a potentially better return on investment. It’s essential to consider factors such as an intuitive software experience, a reliable update cycle, and good resale value when investing close to Rs. 40,000 in a device.

Having said that, if you are planning to buy a new value-flagship handset in 2024, and thinking of getting the new Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus, pause for a moment, and consider these options too before investing.

Let’s take a look at the best Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus alternatives that are priced in the INR 35K to INR 40K price bracket.

Samsung Galaxy A54 5G

This last year’s value-flagship A-series smartphone from Samsung is still a better purchase than any Redmi Note series handset. The Galaxy A54 5G has a better-looking minimal design, offers a better software experience, stellar 4-year software update support, and at last, a much better resale value.

OnePlus 11R 5G

The second good alternative to the Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus is the OnePlus 11R. Premium by all means, the OnePlus 11R also offers better overall user experience, be it software, camera, or raw performance.

Nothing Phone 2

Why go for a Redmi when you can spend a tiny much and get yourself the distinctive Nothing Phone 2? It’s unique and loaded with features to deliver a wholesome user experience.

Motorola Edge 30 Ultra

We usually don’t recommend Motorola handsets for their third-class after-sales service and poor software update cycle support, but the Edge 30 Ultra is worth the pain. This particular Motorola device has a lot going for it due to its solid build, 200MP camera, and the flagship underlying Snapdragon SoC.

We would also like you to check out the Oppo Reno 10 Pro and Google Pixel 7/7a in the sub-40K price category. Although these are last year’s models, they still pack a punch and offer excellent value for your investment.
