iPhone 15 launch date leaked! Latest Apple phone to come out on September 13; here’s how much it may cost

It’s that time of the year and it couldn’t have come sooner! It’s been almost a year since Apple fans got their hands on the iPhone 14 lineup, and if a report by 9to5mac is to be believed the next in line, iPhone 15, will make its grand entry on September 13.

It doesn’t look like Apple will be breaking traditions and this will be another fanfare of an event as mobile carriers have reportedly asked their employees not to take the day off on September 13 due to a major smartphone announcement.

It is likely that after the formal announcement of the iPhone 15 on September 13, the phone will be ready for pre-orders from September 15 and should be ready to ship from September 22.

However, fans may have to hold on to their horses as the iPhone 14 Plus, iPhone 12 Pro Max, and iPhone 12 Mini faced severe supply issues right after launch, and delivery was delayed.

What will be new with iPhone 15?

With the latest series, Apple is likely to say goodbye to the exclusive Lightning charger that it introduced in 2012 with the launch of the iPhone 5.

All four models – Basic, Plus, Pro, and Pro Max – in the latest series will likely have Type C charging. More than design change, the switch is also in accordance with the law change in India and the European Union.

Against the usual stainless steel or aluminum frames, the new series could have titanium frames in the Pro and Pro Max models. These will not just make the phone lighter but also stronger.

This might be the year when all iPhone 15 models get the fancy Dynamic Island Apple launched last year with the iPhone 14 Pro models.

How much will iPhone 15 cost?

According to Barclays analyst Tim Long, this year’s iPhones may start at $799 for the base model and go up to $1,299 for the iPhone Pro Max.

iPhone 15 Plus may cost you somewhere around $899 and iPhone 15 Pro may burn a hole worth $ 1,099 in the pocket.

It should be noted that any and all information about the next iPhones comes from rumor mills at some level and should be taken with a pinch of salt.

A little over a month and who knows, Tim Cook might end up surprising everyone with something as radical as the return of 3.5mm jack. Well, who knows!
