Flipkart is offering discount on iPhone 14 Pro but there's a catch
The headline may sound absurd but so does Flipkart’s offers section on days such as these, and a few publications that sell sensationalised news based on far-fetched ideas are mostly to be blamed.
One of the best iPhones available in the market, last year’s Apple iPhone 14 Pro remains a fan favorite even as its predecessor, the iPhone 15, is going to launch in another week.
The iPhone 14 Pro was launched at the price of Rs 1,29,900 and was the cheapest phone in the series to come with the proprietary Dynamic Island.
Following up on Apple’s tradition, the phone has barely seen any depreciation in its launch price. It is only during Amazon and Flipkart Diwali sales that there is a drop of not more than a few thousand rupees.
With just a week to go before Apple launches its hot new iPhone 15 series, Flipkart has put the iPhone 14 Pro on sale. The premium phone is now available at Rs 1,19,999 with a discount of Rs. 9,901. Makes sense. It is an iPhone after all.
According to a report by DNA, the phone is available at a discount of Rs 62,901! It is unimaginable to begin with but enough to create a sensation.

It’s a con job! The phone is NOT available at a discount of Rs 62,901. Well, it is in a way if you have an iPhone 14 Pro Max lying around.
In addition to the Rs. 9,901 discount, Flipkart is also offering an exchange offer of up to Rs 50,000. To avail this additional Rs 50,000, you need to have an iPhone 14 Pro Max in a “Flawless” condition as per Flipkart’s exchange page.
Who in the world would want to make that exchange? Who exchanges a higher-value product for a higher-value one? What kind of a medieval fudged-up barter system is this? There are too many questions arising out of this absurdity that perhaps people at Flipkart and DNA could answer.
However, if you plan to buy the iPhone 14 Pro, it is a great phone available at Rs 1,19,900 on both Amazon and Flipkart with a few extra thousand worth of bank offers.
