Kinetic E-Luna electric scooter launched with 110km range; check price and details

Kinetic Green has made a striking comeback with the launch of the Kinetic E-Luna scooter, a modern electric version of the iconic Luna two-wheeler. Priced at Rs 69,990, the E-Luna brings a perfect blend of retro design and contemporary technology, ready to give you a trip down memory lane.

The modern version of the Luna electric scooter is available in two variants, the X1 and X2, each equipped with a swappable battery. The X2 variant boasts a 2kWh capacity battery, offering an impressive claimed range of 110km per charge. On the other hand, the X1 variant comes with a 1.7kWh battery, providing a respectable 80km per charge. Both variants feature a mid-mounted motor with a peak power output of 2.2kW, reaching a top speed of 50 kmph.

The E-Luna is designed for practicality, featuring a payload capacity of 150kg and a lightweight kerb weight of 96kg. Its 170mm ground clearance should ensure a smooth ride, while the 1,335mm wheelbase will contribute to the stability on the Indian roads.

In terms of design, the electric scooter takes design cues from the good old model and is adorned with 16-inch spoke wheels, giving it a classic yet sturdy appearance. The fully digital LCD instrument console adds a touch of modernity, while practical features such as a side-stand sensor, USB charging port, and bag hooks make it a convenient choice for riders.

Notably, the E-Luna also comes with a detachable rear seat, providing added utility for carrying items like cylinders or boxes, making it suitable for delivery purposes. This can be the new favorite for delivery jobs.

The Kinetic E-Luna is not just about performance; it also offers a variety of color options to suit different preferences. Buyers can choose from Mulberry Red, Ocean Blue, Pearl Yellow, Sparkling Green, and Night Star Black.

Kinetic Green has strategically priced the E-Luna to cater to a broad audience, with the X1 variant priced at Rs 69,990 and the X2 variant at Rs 74,990, both ex-showroom Delhi. This competitive pricing, its feature-rich offerings, and the nostalgia associated with the Luna brand position the E-Luna as a formidable player in the electric scooter market.

As Kinetic Green revives the iconic Luna in an electric avatar, the E-Luna stands out as a promising option for those seeking a blend of style, functionality, and eco-friendly commuting. We expect the electric Luna to sell in big numbers in India.
