With the Lava Blaze 2 5G, the company has brought some premium looks, new design, and glass back to the table, and all of that for less than Rs 10,000. Let’s check the details.
It should be noted that Lava introduced the Blaze 5G Android device last year at a starting price of Rs 14,999. The phone is currently available at Rs 9,499 on Amazon. The latest phone shouldn’t be confused with the Lava Blaze 2 which is a 4G phone.
The Lava Blaze 2 5G sports a 6.56-inch HD+ IPS display with a 90Hz refresh rate and a 2.5D curved glass. On the front, there is a centre-placed punch-hole camera that houses an 8MP sensor. The phone is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 6020 chipset, along with up to 6GB of RAM (extendable by up to 6GB) and 128GB of storage. The storage is expandable by up to 1TB via a memory card.
Featuring a fancy big circular camera on the back, the Lava Blaze 2 5G includes a ring light that is a first in the segment. The camera setup includes a 50MP main camera and a 0.8MP secondary AI camera.
The phone has camera features like Portrait mode, HDR, slow-motion videos, Night mode, and more. The device comes in Glass Black, Glass Blue, and Glass Lavender colors.
The Lava Blaze 2 5G is powered by a 5,000mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging. The phone runs Android 13 and will receive 2 years of updates.
The Lava Blaze 2 5G gets connectivity options such as Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.0, a USB Type-C port, a 3.5mm audio jack, and OTG support. There’s support for the n1/n3/n5/n8/28/n41/n77/n78 5G bands.
The phone comes with an FM radio, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, face unlock, call recording and other features.
There are two variants of the phone. The Lava Blaze 2 5G has been priced at Rs 9,999 for the 4G+64GB variant. And if you have Rs 10,999, you can go for the 6GB+128GB model.
The phone will be available via Amazon and the company’s website, starting November 9.
