Moto G24 Power is a battery beast on a budget; check specs, features, and price

Motorola has added one more budget handset to its budget portfolio in India for price-conscious buyers. Launched in the Moto G series, the Moto G24 Power is aimed at delivering a long-lasting battery life even with extended usage. The Moto G24 Power boasts a robust 6,000mAh battery coupled with 33W TurboPower fast charging capabilities. A battery this big should last for at least two days on a single charge.

The giant battery has some evident impact on the phone’s ergonomics. Measuring 163.49×74.53×8.99mm and weighing 197 grams, the Moto G24 Power is a hefty smartphone. It features a sleek 3D acrylic glass build, and is IP52-rated water-repellent, enhancing durability and protecting against unexpected splashes. The smartphone is available in two color options – Glacier Blue and Ink Blue.

The Moto G24 Power flaunts a 6.56-inch HD+ IPS LCD display, offering a 90Hz refresh rate and a decent 537 nits peak brightness. Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G85 SoC, supported by up to 8GB of LPDR4x RAM. With RAM boost technology, the 8GB RAM can be expanded by up to 16GB.

In terms of storage, the Moto G24 Power comes with 128GB onboard storage, expandable up to 1TB via a microSD card. The smartphone runs on Android 14 with Moto’s bare minimum stock Android UI.

The Moto G24 Power sports a dual rear camera setup, featuring a 50MP primary sensor with Quad Pixel technology and f/1.8 aperture. Accompanying this is a 2MP macro shooter with f/2.4 aperture. Selfies and video calls are managed by a 16MP front camera with f/2.45 aperture.

Connectivity options on the Moto G24 Power include dual SIM support, Bluetooth, GPS, A-GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, LTEPP, SUPL, Beidu, a 3.5mm headphone jack, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, and a USB Type-C port.

Priced at Rs. 8,999 for the base 4GB RAM + 128GB storage variant and Rs. 9,999 for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage model, the Moto G24 Power is set to go on sale starting February 7 at 12pm IST through Flipkart, Motorola.in, and select retail stores.

Motorola sweetens the deal with launch offers, including a Rs. 750 exchange bonus for old devices, bringing the initial price down to Rs. 8,249. Additionally, EMI options start at Rs. 317, making the Moto G24 Power an enticing option for budget-conscious consumers.
