Nokia 106 and Nokia 110 4G feature phones welcome YouTube Shorts, BBC Hindi and several cloud apps

Breaking News! HMD is bringing a touch of modernity to Nokia’s classic feature phones, the Nokia 106 4G and Nokia 110 4G, by introducing cloud app functionality.

Users of Nokia 106 4G and Nokia 110 4G will discover a new ‘Cloud Icon,’ granting them access to these cloud-hosted apps. The Cloud Icon will serve as a gateway to modern features.

It’s worth noting that the cloud-hosted apps won’t just show random data. With Google Login, users will experience personalized content on YouTube Shorts and other cloud-hosted apps. If you are already a user of these feature phones, expect software updates within the next two weeks to unlock the benefits of Cloud Apps innovation.

Since the apps won’t reside on the handsets, and will be hosted on the cloud, HMD, the manufacturer of Nokia phones promises to eliminate device slowdowns and offer uninterrupted access to YouTube Shorts and a curated suite of eight apps, including BBC Hindi, Weather, News, and Games.

Positioned as ideal choices in the feature-phone category, Nokia 106 and Nokia 110 4G cater to a non-tech-savvy audience with their large keypads, zoomed-in interfaces, and support for quick dialing.

These 4G feature phones boast a range of utilities, supporting FM radio with loudspeakers, an MP3 player, a torch, alarm features, and vibrant color displays. With 4G connectivity, users can browse the internet through the pre-loaded Opera Mini mobile-optimized browser. Both handsets also facilitate hassle-free transactions through UPI Scan & Pay.

The standout feature of these phones is their impressive battery life, ensuring they last up to a week on a single charge. Priced at Rs. 2,199 for the Nokia 106 4G and Rs. 2,399 for the Nokia 110 4G, these feature phones offer an affordable yet feature-rich option for users.

In addition to the Nokia 106 and Nokia 110 4G, HMD’s current feature phone portfolio includes exciting models like the Nokia 2660 Flip, Nokia 5710 XA, Nokia 3301, Nokia 8210 4G, and Nokia 225 4G, offering a diverse range of choices for users seeking classic mobile experiences.
