One of the budget flagship phones that took the market by surprise when it was first launched, the Nothing Phone (2) is now available for a juicy discount.
London-based consumer tech brand, Nothing, launched the Nothing Phone (2) in India, starting at Rs. 44,999.
The company on Friday announced a permanent price reduction of Rs 5,000 on the phone.
The price cut brings down the phone’s rate to under Rs 40,000 in India.
At the launch price of Rs 44,999, the Nothing Phone (2) was in the range of Pixel 7a, creating confusion for a lot of buyers who then waited for a price cut to buy it.
The company had last reduced the price by a few thousand rupees during the special Diwali sale. But, the latest price cut is going to be permanent.
What are the new prices?
The base model with 128GB storage is now available for Rs 39,999. It is the same model that had launched at Rs 44,999.
The 256GB model can be purchased at Rs 44,999, against the launch price of Rs 49,999. The top model with 512GB storage has dropped down to Rs 49,999.
During the special Diwali sale, the deals included bank and exchange discounts but now everyone gets the discounted price.
The Nothing Phone (2) comes with a 120Hz OLED screen. It is powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset with up to 12GB RAM and 512GB storage.
The USP for this phone is its unique Glyph interface LED lighting that can be customised for different notifications and alerts. There are also dual 50 MP cameras at the back and a 32 MP selfie camera.
The phone runs on a 4700mAh battery with support for 45W fast charging.
