OnePlus 12 is going to disrupt the market and pose a great challenge to future leaders like the Samsung S24 Ultra with its specifications and competitive pricing.
If the latest leaks are to be believed, OnePlus is going to go above and beyond the usual expectations of RAM.
A new leak from a reliable leakster- Digital Chat Station claims to have revealed the complete specifications of the OnePlus 12, which is expected to be launched later this year or next year.
Before we come to other specifications, its RAM is what’s creating quite chaos in the market. It is being said that the OnePlus 12 will pack in a whopping 24GB RAM! Although it is something OnePlus has already introduced with the Ace 2 Pro, but latter hasn’t been launched in India.
According to the leak, the OnePlus 12 is expected to come with a 2K resolution display, curved edges, and high-frequency dimming.
The phone could be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC paired with Adreno GPU and backed by 16GB and 24GB RAM options.
The leak hasn’t mentioned 8GB or 12GB RAM variants, so it is believed that the company might drop the two lower RAM options.
When it comes to storage, the phone could come with three storage options: 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB.
In the camera department, the phone may continue to include a triple camera setup on the back. The OnePlus 12 could pack in a 50MP SonyIMX9 primary sensor, a 50MP ultra wide-angle camera, and a 64MP 3x periscope camera.
It is also likely that OnePlus will continue its partnership with camera manufacturer Hasselblad.
The OnePlus 12 is likely to boast a 32MP camera for selfies and videos.
Looks like the company is working from all directions to make OnePlus 12 its biggest release in years. The OnePlus 12 is expected to come with a massive 5,400mAh battery with 100W fast charging and 50W wireless charging, which is a boost in the wireless segment.
The latest leak also suggests that the flagship phone will retain the metallic mid-frame, a large X-axis motor, and a large vapor chamber for heat dissipation.
Since OnePlus is expected to launch its first folding phone, the OnePlus Open, in September, it is expected that the company may launch the OnePlus 12 by the end of this year.
