Oppo Reno 11 Series is ready to make a splash in the Indian market with its fancy design, crisp display, and feature-packed camera system. Similar to the previous handsets in Oppo’s premium Reno series, the Reno 11 line-up will also offer two handsets- the regular Reno 11 and the slightly more premium and feature-loaded Reno 11 Pro.

Both handsets will be officially unveiled in India on January 12, 2024, and will be made available for purchase on Flipkart.com.

The Reno 11 Series brings a revamped design along with noticeable generational upgrades. Both models showcase a redesigned camera island and feature eye-catching marble-finish back panels. In the Indian market, Oppo is anticipated to release the series in Moonstone, Obsidian Black, and Turquoise Green (translated from Chinese) color options.

The regular Reno 11 flaunts a 6.70-inch (1,080×2,412 pixels) OLED curved display with 394ppi pixel density and an adaptive refresh rate ranging from 1Hz to 120Hz. The display is said to offer 950nits peak brightness. The Reno 11 Pro goes one step ahead and features a 6.74-inch 1.5K (1,240×2,772 pixels) OLED curved display with up to 120Hz refresh rate and 450ppi pixel density. Oppo claims that the Pro variant’s screen offers 1,600 nits of peak brightness, and up to 240Hz touch sampling rate.

The Reno 11 and the Reno 11 Pro pack up to 12GB RAM with up to 512GB of onboard storage. The underlying chipset makes all the difference. The regular Oppo Reno 11 is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8200 SoC, while the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC backs the Pro model. The Snapdragon chip will enable better overall processing speed and performance.

The camera setup on the Reno 11 Pro includes- a 50MP Sony IMX890 sensor with OIS (optical image stabilization), accompanied by a 32MP telephoto camera and an 8MP ultra-wide camera. The handset has a 32MP RGBW Sony IMX709 camera for selfies.

The regular Reno 11 features a 50MP Sony LYT600 sensor with OIS support, supported by a 32MP telephoto secondary sensor, and an 8MP ultra-wide sensor. This model also gets a 32MP shooter for selfies and video chats.

The Oppo Reno 11 draws power from a 4,800mAh battery with support for 67W Super Flash Charge support. The premium Reno 11 Pro has a slightly smaller 4,700mAh battery cell but with faster 80W Super Flash Charge support.

The Reno 11 is most likely to be priced at Rs. 28,000 for the base variant, while the Reno 11 Pro can cost Rs. 35,000 for the 8GB RAM variant.
With these expected prices, the Reno 11 series will compete with the Vivo v-series, OnePlus Nord, and the Nothing Phone 2 in India.
