Just a day after Qualcomm announced Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 at its annual Snapdragon event, there are reports about a lot of new phones coming with the next-gen flagship processor, including Xiaomi 14, OnePlus 12, and Realme GT 5 Pro.

The new chip will power flagship Android phones that will debut in the coming weeks and months, starting with the Xiaomi 14, which is launching on Thursday

Other OEMs that have lined up to equip the new chip in their phones are Asus, Hobor, iQoo, Meizu, Nio, Nubia, Oppo, Sony, Vivo, and ZTE.

Xiaomi 14 will be the first phone to come with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. Company president William Lu has already confirmed the launch of the handset in China, but the company has not announced the launch of the Xiaomi 14 in other markets, including India.

Later on November 7, iQoo is expected to unveil the iQoo 12 in China, which is confirmed to be powered by Qualcomm’s latest chip. Both Vivo and Realme have also confirmed the arrival of smartphones powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC.

Realme’s upcoming GT 5 Pro will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. The phone has been teased by the company and will be launched soon.

Even though there is no fixed date of launch for the OnePlus 12, it is an open secret that the phone will feature the new Snapdragon chipset. Oppo’s Find X7 Pro will be the company’s first smartphone to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip.

ZTE has also confirmed that upcoming phones from Nubia and Red Magic will be equipped with the flagship Snapdragon chipset.

While Asus, Sony, Honor, and Motorola have not revealed the names of the phones, they have confirmed their upcoming phones will be powered by the latest Qualcomm chip.

Qualcomm’s latest chip will bring a host of new upgrades. It also claims to be the first mobile platform to focus on generative AI. The chip promises to be the world’s fastest stable diffusion for image generation.

The Qualcomm Hexagon NPU promises 98 percent faster and 40 percent more efficient performance. It also promises 240 fps gaming on supported displays, featuring global illumination with ray tracing. The 5G-ready chip supports Wi-Fi 7 and dual Bluetooth.
