Will these two features make Samsung Galaxy S24 “the smartest AI phone ever”?

Word on the street is that the Samsung Galaxy S24 series will be revealed on January 17, 2024. Leaks from the past have spilled the beans on what we can likely expect from the Galaxy S24 lineup. Rumor has it that the Samsung Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+, and Galaxy S24 Ultra are aiming to be labeled as “the smartest AI phones ever.”

Rumor has it that the S24 series will boast features that strongly resemble ChatGPT and Google’s Bard. This includes the capability to generate content and stories based on just a few keywords you provide. The most recent leak spills details on two AI-powered features that will grace the S24 trio: Live Translate and Generative Edit.

News is coming in from the user Arsene Lupin (@MysteryLupin), who shared an image that looks like an incomplete retailer listing. According to the description for Live Translate, it seems the processing will take place on the device, allowing you to engage in real-time communication in different languages using the S24 trio.

Generative Edit appears to be Samsung’s response to Google’s Magic Editor. To use it, you’ll need a Samsung account and an active internet connection, suggesting that the processing will probably take place in the cloud.

The image brings up three additional features – Nightography Zoom, High Resolution, and Screen Display. However, there’s no confirmation yet on whether these will incorporate any AI enhancements.

High Resolution allows you to capture photos in the maximum resolution supported by the phone’s primary camera, which is 50MP for the S24 and S24+ and a whopping 200MP for the S24 Ultra. Nightography is pretty self-explanatory. As for Screen Display, it indicates a “flatter screen” for the S24 Ultra and “larger and brighter screens” for the S24 and S24+ compared to their earlier models.

The speculated launch of the Samsung Galaxy S24 lineup is just a bit over two weeks away, so get ready to hear more about the Korean conglomerate’s flagship lineup for 2024 in the next few days. All rumors will be put to rest when the Korean tech giant finally reveals its next flagship. Besides, we will also know whether they are actually “the smartest AI phones ever.”
